THINGS I AM THANKFUL FOR

This is my first thanksgiving at home in two years! Obviously I am super juiced. But enough of this bullshit! Fuck family, friends and good health. 2009 was a shitty year for a lot of people, but here are the things that keep me from slitting my wrists.

Johnnysbird.com: It's like the cobrasnake's sexy bad ass older brother. You wish you were cool enough to kick it with him, but you know your not. So instead you play mind games with the cobra snake and lead him on. At least this way Johnny's bird knows you exist.

Peach Swishers: With all the berkeley kids home, I will be smoking a lot of blunts this weekend. While I am down with Mary Jane, she doesn't run my life! Smoking is more pleasurable when:
A. I roll the blunt.
B. It's wrapped in a peach swisher.

Joaquin Phoenix's Rap Career: I think I'm in love (you think I'm kidding, I'm not...) This is what I would do if I were an Academy Award nominated actress. I would fake a nervous breakdown, quit acting and try and become a rapper. For some ungodly reason I find all this very hot. Bat shit crazy or best actor ever? I say both.

Neopets: I wont dwell on this, but neopet games are the only thing that keeps me sane.

The Gucci movie: I'm sorry if anyone was mislead by the picture, this is about the Gucci brand not Gucci Mane. Even though I hate Angelina Jolie with a passion. A very strong passion. To the point that I could do an entire post on hating her, I am very excited over the upcoming movie on the scandalous Gucci Family. If Leo DiCaprio agrees to do it, it might be an actual good movie...though that is doubtful.

Last but not least...my favorite part of Thanksgiving...Football! I am Currently watching Texas A&M vs. UT at my friend Brynne’s house (shout out to her mom Dena on a bomb ass thanksgiving dinner!) as Brynne writes a late essay. Anyways I am actually a huge football fan...

Sweet Fantasy

I watched Glitter a few days ago. Mariah totally got jipped on the Oscar nods! Anyways it reminded me of her MTV Cribs episode where she showed her outrageous shoe closet.

To tell the truth, Cribs is my least favorite show in the entire world. But fuck that, I love me some shoes.

Julia Restion Roitfield has my DREAM shoe closet

Jane Aldridge from Sea of Shoes.
grumble, grumble, stupid underage billionaire with amazing ass shoes..

Small closet, but between the Channels and the TWO pairs of Chloes, thats gotta cost $$$$

LAST AND LEAST my ghetto ass shoe collection.
Obviously the red Fredrick's of Hollywoods on the floor are my everyday shoes.

ON BLACK FRIDAY, I AM ABOUT TO GO FUCKING CRAZY OVER SHOES. ALL OF YOU IN THE BAY AREA/S.F BEWARE...I WILL BE PACKING HEAT!!!

on that note: happy early thanksgiving :)

and check out my new favorite blog.

Ai Yazawa

Ai Yazawa's comic book characters have the cutest outfits on all the time. Especially in Paradise Kiss & Nana.

I totally had a crush on George (↑) after I read Paradise Kiss.

Anyways,
She seriously is a genius. All her comics are hella interesting & she's so good at drawing. I really hope her surgery went well n she gets better soon. Can't wait til the next Nana comes out!

PIKA PIKA✧

Who said Godzilla was the only monster Japins had to fear?
This pocket monster blocks traffic in the busiest intersection in the world.

If my mom made me lunches like this,
I would have bin the most popular kid in the cafeteria, no doubt.

When In Kyoto....

In 2005, Memoirs of A Geisha came out. I had just read the book, and as an impressionable 15 year old, obviously I was swept away by the love story. I found the movie to be heinously shitty. However Colleen Atwood, who is a bomb costume designer, did an excellent job dressing the stars.

GONG LI who played Hatsumomo is HOT SHIT!!

Atwood eventually won the Academy Award for best costume design.

Obviously, when we arrived in Kyoto, geisha capital of the world, we needed to dress the part.

In order to get the full experience we smoked opium and entertained a couple of business men.

You think I'm kidding. If Maya's mom is reading, I am.
